My wife and I are both physicians at U of M in Ann Arbor, and our daughter's robotics qualifications were in Concord, MI in mid-December. We wanted to make the morning not so early so found this B&B that turned out to be a gem. Dave, the proprietor, went above and beyond to accommodate us. We stayed in the Boone Lodge with our 2 kids. We had a great time playing billiards (with The Princess Bride playing in the background), taking a hot tub (with attendant snowball fight and double dog dare swimsuit snow angels), and falling asleep to a roaring fire (but not before Dave brought freshly baked chocolate chip cookies). Dave has a background in law enforcement and as a medic...and tends to a small flock of rescues, which endeared him to our daughter who wants to be a vet. Definitely looking for excuses to stop off here, be it in Michigan's wonderful fair seasons, or beautiful white winter!
